Toni Watson

Hi, I am Toni Watson, an  Acupuncturist, and Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner.

I am passionate about helping my clients understand the root of their condition and fertility struggles, by using a combination of my own knowledge and experience, the latest research, and referring for further biomedical testing if required. I am also a big believer in collaborating with other specialists when I believe it will benefit my clients.

I completed my B.Sc (Hons) Degree in Acupuncture at the University of Westminster in 2011, and volunteered at St. Joseph’s Hospice in London using acupuncture and reflexology to alleviate pain and  support the emotional wellbeing of patients.

After briefly traveling and practicing acupuncture in rural India, I moved to New York and began treating in various Manhattan and Brooklyn locations, which included private clinics, corporate environments and low income health facilities. While there, I furthered my studies by attending courses in Women’s Health, Labor induction and support, and trauma training through Acupuncture Without Borders.

In 2018 I returned to London and founded The Wellness Meridian. More recently I completed my PGDip in Chinese Herbal Medicine with the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. I am so excited to finally be able to use Chinese herbs to support my clients and reach positive outcomes more quickly by combining herbs and acupuncture. I will be completing my Masters from NCA in July 2024. My dissertation is a Literature review on The use of Chinese herbal Medicine to suppress the reactivation of the Epstein Barr Virus, and why it matters.

I am also very excited about being a member of Fertility Support Experts, which signals a high level of understanding complex fertility cases, IVF support, and reproductive immunology. https://www.fertilitysupport.expert/

I work with clients experiencing chronic and complex conditions, auto-immune conditions, reproductive health concerns, fertility optimisation for hetero and same-sex couples, and also patients who experience musculo-skeletal pain, stress, anxiety.

My Approach: My Acupuncture sessions begin with a thorough consultation and include subtle diagnostic techniques to determine the treatment. I believe that all healing should be considered holistically and I aim to provide a balance of support, nourishment, empowerment, and practicality, which can include further diagnostic testing. I encourage my clients to explore their own possible blocks to healing and to consider how they can support themselves better, but most importantly, I make sure that after the initial treatment, I have provided my clients with an understanding of our aims, my integrated approach, and our adaptive treatment plan.
